In the Way Down Deep is a devised theatre piece for 3-5 year-olds. By running "play labs" for children at the ASU Child Development Center, director Amanda Pintore and her students explored how young children react to the ideas of deep sea creatures, and the final show was a fun, interactive experience based off of their findings.
